The following text was kindly written by DSC member Lilly and supplied to the New Era club as a supplement to Saturdays programme for the DesmoDue race at Oulton Park . Lucie Stone 13/09/81 – 5/07/09 Lucie has been around the race paddocks for many years both as a racer and supporter. She has cheered people on, crashed, fixed bikes and comforted others, always with a beaming smile and bags of energy. Her smile, enthusiasm and motivation rubbed off on everyone she met and people know Lucie as the great looking, fast and modest one in the paddock who had time for everyone but never a bad word for anyone. Lucie loved life and shared her passion for bikes with her fiancée Tony. Between them they owned many bikes and Lucie was always excited about a ride out or a trackday, rain or shine, road or dirt Lucie was all about having fun and living life to the full. Not only was Lucie a biker in every way, she was a proper girl and would always be gentle and caring and looked just as good in a ball gown as a set of leathers. She loved her bikes, her friends and her family but above everything she loved Tony and loved their life together. She will leave a hole in all of our lives but will also leave a mountain of amazing memories reminding us of how great life can be and how much we should enjoy it. Somewhere she will be on a race track, looking stylish and showing the boys how it's done. Lucy was killed in a road accident on Sunday 5th July 2009 We will miss you x
